Installation Instructions

If switching from an existing GP2040-CE, initialization is required.
Because the settings are stored in a different format, initialize once with flash_nuke for the first installation.

Download flash_nuke.uf2

This file initializes the board settings.

Connect in BOOTSEL mode

Connect via USB in BOOTSEL mode. The “RPI-RP2” drive will appear.
※Either restart in BOOTSEL mode from the settings screen in your browser, or connect while holding Start + Select + Up.

Write flash_nuke.uf2

Drag & drop flash_nuke.uf2 onto “RPI-RP2”. Initialization and restart will happen automatically.

Reconnect in BOOTSEL mode

It will automatically reconnect in BOOTSEL mode. Be careful not to disconnect!

Write Cielo Edition

Drag & drop the .uf2 downloaded from the top of the page onto “RPI-RP2”.

Automatic restart → Complete

Setup is complete once it reconnects in controller mode.

flash_nuke erases data on the board. If you may revert to the previous firmware, make a backup beforehand.

Download the firmware

Get the latest .uf2 from the top of the page.

Connect in BOOTSEL mode

Connect via USB in BOOTSEL mode. The “RPI-RP2” drive will appear.
※Either restart in BOOTSEL mode from the settings screen in your browser, or connect while holding Select + Home.

Drag & drop the file

Drag & drop the .uf2 file onto “RPI-RP2”.

Automatic restart → Complete

Your settings will be carried over as they are.

Never disconnect while the file is being written.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I revert to the original GP2040-CE?
Yes. You can revert by writing the official version using the same procedure as for installation.
Will updating erase my settings?
Settings are also saved in local storage, so they will carry over unless you clear the cache.
Which boards are supported?
Compatible with boards equipped with an RP2040 chip. All boards that can use GP2040-CE firmware are supported.

裏面の小さなボタンを押しながらPCへ接続することで、BOOTSELモードで接続されますので、"はじめて導入する"の手順通りに初期化してからファームウェアを再度書き込んでください。

hautepad e16 mirroredのボタン配置設定時にstart,x.y等の設定を削除してしまって、ブラウザからの設定画面にアクセスできません。デバイス側から初期化は可能でしょうか？

初期設定ではPIN17がスタートボタンとなります。
また、コントローラーの接続中にセレクト+X+Yボタンを5秒以上長押しすることで、Webコンフィグモードに入るため、スタートボタンを無くしてしまった場合でも設定は可能です。

pico fightngBord で使おうとしたのですが
初期のボタン配置でスタートボタンがどのボタンやキーにも配置されていなく
設定できない状態で詰んでしまいました
