Officially licensed by SONY. A lightweight, compact arcade controller suitable for a wide range of users, from beginners to advanced players.
Officially licensed by SONY for PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4. Connect to PS5/PS4/PC with a single switch and start playing right away without complicated setup.
At approximately 1.25kg, it is lightweight and ideal for carrying. It is easy to take along to tournaments or a friend's home, as well as use for practice at home. The cable can be neatly stored inside the unit.
Equipped with a touchpad, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack, and a mute button. It supports restarting in Training Mode and offers a comfortable play environment even in games that make frequent use of voice chat.
The joystick ball top can be easily replaced without tools. The buttons and lever use Faston terminals, making it easy to swap in parts such as those made by Sanwa Denshi. You can pursue the control feel you prefer.
The Qanba N3 Drone 2 is the model we can most recommend to people who want to start using an arcade controller. The reassurance of its official SONY license is a major appeal.
In terms of the user experience, its light weight and compact size are its defining features. It is comfortable to play with on your lap, but when placed on a desk and used with vigorous inputs, the unit may shift because it is so light. The standard joystick and buttons provide sufficient performance for the price, but their operating noise is somewhat loud. Those using it in a quiet environment or particular about how the controls feel may find this a little noticeable. Players accustomed to more recent parts may find it somewhat lacking.
However, replacing the joystick and buttons with ones of your choice can dramatically improve ease of operation. In a sense, it is a "controller that grows with you," and it can be a good choice for players who want to start with an arcade controller while keeping costs down and later develop it into a unit of their own.
