“Gateron 暁軸 switch” is a balanced key switch based on the 霞軸 switch, which was designed for high-speed input, and tuned with settings that are easier for a wider range of players to use. It retains the short travel of a 0.8mm actuation point and 1.5mm total travel, while its actuation force of 45gf provides a solid press feel.

It is ideal for those who find the 霞軸 switch's 35gf too light or want a definite response when inputting. Its moderate resistance helps prevent accidental inputs while allowing light, responsive operation. Its balanced feel also makes it a good recommendation for those trying short-travel switches for the first time.

It retains the smooth press feel characteristic of a linear type while combining response speed with stable operation. You can also compare it with the 霞軸 switch to find the settings that suit you. This key switch is recommended for players who want both high-speed input and a solid press feel.
